Brief Introduction of Research

  • I am working on theoretical and observational studies of supernovae (SNe), especially core-collapse supernovae (CCSNe), and related objects such as gamma-ray bursts (GRBs), fast radio bursts (FRBs), gravitational wave (GW) sources, first stars, and extremely metal-poor stars. Using radiation hydrodynamics and nucleosynthesis calculations and imaging and spectroscopic observations, my work aims to (1) clarify the origin of transient objects, e.g., SNe, GRBs, FRBs, and GW sources, (2) constrain the origin of elements, the chemical evolution of the Universe, and the nature of first stars and first SNe, and (3) develop high-redshift studies with transient objects.
