Summary of Research
- We carry out magnetic fluid simulations to clarify the role of the cosmic magnetic field on astronomical activity. In particular, we mainly study accretion disks formed around high-density astronomical objects such as black holes and gaseous disks of spiral galaxies. We are also working on observational visualization to directly compare the observables obtained from numerical calculations with actual observations. Recently, I have been involved in observations (mainly radio waves and X-rays) for comparison with numerical calculation results.
