Brief Introduction of Research

  • Many astronomical phenomena appear as steady-state events when observed on human timescales. However, some astronomical objects exhibit dramatic changes over short timescales ranging from seconds to years. The exploration of such transient or long-term variability in astronomical objects is known as time-domain astronomy. I conduct observational and theoretical research in time-domain astronomy, focusing on extragalactic objects that exhibit multi-wavelength (X-ray, optical, and infrared) variability. In particular, my work centers on the study of active galactic nuclei (AGN) and supernovae.
